My Watch Over my Mom Has Ended

August 16, 2026

It was a beautiful and incredibly hard journey, one that will always remain in my heart. I gave everything I could to be there for her, to protect her, to care for her, and to make sure she was never alone.

I have decided that I will not continue the story behind this website. The last days were very hard, and there are things that are simply too painful to put into words.

But after she passed away, something happened that I will carry with me forever.

I felt her presence.

It was as if she came back to give me one last kiss on my forehead, a quiet goodbye, assuring me that she was finally at peace. That she had no more pain. That she was with God, with my father, and with her family and all those she loved who went before her.

That moment strengthened my belief in God more than ever.

I don't think I would have found peace so easily otherwise. To me, her coming to say goodbye was a magical and beautiful moment, one that I will never forget.

I know that most people probably won't believe what I experienced. Some may say that I was stressed, exhausted, overwhelmed, and full of emotions, and perhaps that is the easiest explanation.

But let me tell you something.

It's a little like watching a horror movie before going to sleep. Your mind is full of what you've just seen, and when you close your eyes, you don't simply switch to Mickey Mouse in a fraction of a second. The emotions, the images, the atmosphere are still there.

I understand why someone might explain my experience that way. But I was there. I know what I felt, and I know the difference between exhaustion, emotion, and something that felt completely different.

So I don't ask anyone to prove it or to believe me.
I'm simply asking you to keep an open mind.

Because sometimes, when we go through something we cannot explain, perhaps the answer isn't always that we were tired, stressed, or imagining things.

I believe my Mom came to say goodbye.
And I will believe that for the rest of my life. ❤️

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the next book be released?

This story is still being written. Mom is still here, still fighting, and I'm still by her side. I hope we have many more chapters together before the final page. Whether this becomes two books, three books, or something entirely different — I don't know yet. The story will tell me when it's ready. Stay subscribed to be the first to know what comes next.

How can I support Mom's care?

Last week, someone sent me a message saying our book helped her understand what her father was going through with dementia. She said she'd been frustrated with him, but after reading our story, she called him and just listened. No corrections. No frustration. Just love.

Here's how you can help make more moments like that possible:
